FINAL SHOWS FOR 2009| 12.11.2009

We are very happy to officially confirm our final concerts in 2009. We will be performing on December 12th together with Disparaged (among others) in Chur, which we are very excited about. Furthermore, we'll be supporting Toxic Holocaust, Goatwhore and Skeletonwitch at Abart, Zürich on December 17th. To top it all off and let this year go out with a bang, we'll throw our own little Christmas party at Bad Bonn in Düdingen on December 26th. -> more

In 2010 we'll take a break from performing live and hole up in our rehearsal space to start writing new material. Don't be afraid, though, we'll return to the stage in May - hopefully with a load of awesome new songs!

THANK YOU! / NEW PRICES | 28.05.2009

So, another couple of gigs are behind us and we are absolutely thrashed, but happy as hell. We had a great time the past two weekends, rocking out in Erstfeld, Bubikon and Fribourg, getting to know a lot of nice people and enjoying our last gigs before our Summer break. Thanks a lot to all the great guys and gals who worked their asses off (especially Daniel Appert) and especially every one who came to see us! We're pretty much done with playing live for the moment, but that doesn't mean we won't be busy! We've already started putting together some new material
and in the next few months we'll be focussing primarily on writing songs. We'll keep you posted, so keep checking back here for updates.

By the way: We dropped the prices for shirts and CDs quite a bit - go check out our shop and get yourself some stuff, before it's all gone (we're almost out of shirts)!

TIMOR & PANOS GOING SEPERATE WAYS | LOOKING FOR A GUITAR PLAYER | 13.02.2009

There are news, and for once they're not good. Unfortunately we had to part with our rhythm guitarist Panos due to insurmountable musical differences.
Panos was an important part of Timor right from the start. He enriched many of our songs with his significant thrash- and death metal riffs. We cannot thank Panos enough for his commitment and all the beautiful moments we shared during this long time and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.

There will be no cancelled shows! However, we do look for a new rhythm guitarist. You should have your own equipment (guitar and amp) and have some experience both off and on stage. We usually rehearse twice a week in Hinwil (ZH) and have about one or two shows a month. If you feel, that this description fits you and if you are interested, don't hesitate and get in touch with us.

AEONS OF DESPITE RELEASE PARTY / MEH-SUFF | 17.12.2008

We'd like to give out a huge round of thank-you-very-much to all our fans and friends who celebrated the release of our debut album with us. You really rocked the joint and it was a pleasure playing for you and raising our glasses to our new record. Another big thank you goes out to Mike Müntener and Marc Reichen for joining us on stage and the teams of both schwermetall.ch and i45 as well as to our other helping hands. Without you guys, there would have been no party in the first place!

You can find some pictures of the release show here and there is also a first live video available. And of course you can now order your copy of "Aeons Of Despite" in retail and our shop.

On another note: Sorry to all the visitors of the Meh-Suff party in Berikon on November 29th. Unfortunately we had to cancel the show at the last minute, because Lukas Villiger injured his foot so badly during the show the night before, that he was barely able to walk the next day. We hope, you still had a blast without us!

NEW BASSIST! NEW SHOWS! NEW CD! | 16.10.2008

There are some great news in Timor-camp! First of all we're happy to introduce our new guy on the bass: After rehearsing together we decided in favour of Lukas Studer from Igis (GR). This adept bass player has played so far in F.I.T.D. and Midgard. He'll already support us during our next concert in Neuendorf / O
lten on October 25th. Everything else about our new and shiny line-up is here.

Besides: We've got the confirmation for quite a few news shows during late 2008 and early 2009, and more are bound to follow. One of these is the "Freak Time Show" in Palazzo, Chur on November 1st, where Ektomorf will be playing (among others). More detailed information about our shows can be found here.

And last but not least: Our Debut-CD is coming along well. While Christoph Brandes (Iguana Studios) is currently putting the final touches to it, we are preparing for our CD-release show at Industrie 45 on November 22nd, where we'll finally be able to throw our Debut-Album in your faces! This is not a moment to miss!

CD-RELEASE / RELEASE-PARTY ON 22.11.08 AT I45 ZUG | 28.08.2008

With great pleasure we're finally able to announce the release date of our debut album, entitled "AEONS OF DESPITE"! This piece of music will be released on Saturday, November 22nd 2008 and also be baptized on the same night at Industrie 45, Zug!
However, we're not the only ones who have something to raise our glasses to: Schwermetall.ch are celebrating their 10th birthday this year and came up with the idea of combining their anniversary with our release party. While Schwermetall are spicing up the evening with several nice specials, we've also got some treats up our sleeves. In short: An evening, you'd better not miss. See you at i45! ->more

DRUMS AND GUITARS DONE / LOOKING FOR A BASS PLAYER | 18.08.2008

We're happy to report that we're already done recording the drums and guitars for our upcoming album and are currently preparing for doing so with bass and vocals which is going to happen this week.
At the same time we also have to inform you that Timor and Philipp are going seperate ways. Since Lukas is going to take care of recording the bass, this will have no consequences for the production of our CD.

Either way: As of now, we're looking for a new bass player! You should have your own equipment (Bass and amplifier) and have some experience in both playing your instrument and performing live. We rehearse twice a week in Hinwil (ZH) and usually play one to two concerts per month. If you feel, that you meet the requirements or have questions of some sort, don't hesitate to contact us!

NEW GUITARIST / CD RECORDINGS | 12.07.2008

We're happy to officially confirm Simon Burri (Hybrid Effect) as the new guitarrist of Timor.
After having already rehearsed several times and even playing a show with us, Simon turned out to be not only a ideal successor for Nico but also a great musical gain for our band. It's probably needless to say, that we're very happy about how things turned out and how awesome it is to be a complete band again!

And as if Simon joining Timor wasn't enough, we'll also be busy recording our upcoming debut album starting at the end of July, thus probably releasing the finished piece somewhen in late 2008 or early 2009. Because of this, we'll be taking a short break from playing live. Don't be scared though, we'll keep you posted!

BIG SALE! | 23.05.2008

Since we've still got quite some shirts lying around, we decided to lower the prices by CHF 5.- for each shirt (for the non-Swiss-people that would be 3.- Euros). Now every last person who even remotely likes what we are doing can get themselves a stylish t-shirt to show their love for Timor! -> more

SHOW AT TERRA PFÄFFIKON (SZ) | 26.04.2008

We got asked to play at Terra Pfäffikon on this Saturday (yeah, tonight...) together with Oral Fistfuck to replace Forgotten Chaos who unfortunately had to cancel their own appearance.
To be able to play as we're supposed to, we got ourselves some reinforcement by Simon Burri (Hybrid Effect) and cut down the set a tiny bit. It is on pretty short notice, but considering the venue and the occasion it's going to be a pretty brutal night...

THANKS A LOT! | 11.03.2008

Not much of an update or news this time, just a huge rant.

We had an absolute blast rocking Werk21 last Wednesday, we expected a nice, intimate gig with about five people attending and were pretty stomped when actually more than 60 people arrived to grant Nico a proper farewell. It was a very special evening for us all and we had an awesome time, despite the sad fact of it being the last live appearance of Timor featuring Mr. Schläpfer.

So, once more, thanks a lot to everyone who attended and special regards to Leandro and his lovely wife who made it all possible!
